Available 7 days a week from 6am to 10pm
It costs $1 to unlock a vehicle, and then $0.65 for every minute that you ride. You can hop on
and off multiple vehicles without paying the subsequent $1 unlock fee.
Alternatively, we offer multi-day passes that allow you to take as many trips as you like within a
daily allocation of 120 minutes, for a set daily fee.
To Get Started
1. Download the Beam app from your app store, register your payment
method, and ensure your Bluetooth is turned on.
2. Select "Start Trip" and scan the QR code on the scooter handlebar to unlock the scooter.
3. Push off to get it moving, then press the "GO" button to start riding. If you want to slow
down, pull firmly on the brake levers on the handlebar.
4. Refer to the "Operating Zone" marked on the map in the app, to see where you can ride.
5. Note that there are also zones marked in yellow which are "Slow Zones", where the top
speed of the scooter will automatically be reduced for safety reasons.
6. Please make sure you end your trip in one of the many dedicated parking hubs across
town. Refer to the map in the app for locations.
7. To end your ride click on the end ride button at the bottom of your screen.
